I’m Ruth DeBonnett-Southall, and I make CHAMPS, which means that I use my gifts of instruction and inspiration to help others reveal and refine their gifts to glorify God. My husband Trevell (TS) and I have been married for over 20 years, and we are so blessed to be raising two wonderfully creative teenagers: Mackenzie Angelica and Jacob Alexander. Although I began teaching almost 30 years ago, I’ve always had an insatiable thirst for acquiring knowledge through experience, so I have a very colorful resume. After the birth of my son in 2006 I founded Chosen Ambassadors Preparatory School in my home to educate my children, as well as, several other pre-school aged learners for six years until transitioning to a private tutoring service, or as I call it, “scholastic coaching.” One fateful, ordinary day in July of 2012, I decided to become a Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultant, and my life was forever changed for the better. Now, in addition to training students, I also get to be a free car driving leader of a team of women who believe that they were born to succeed and prosper. I am so grateful that I had the courage to say “YES” to the possibility of success, and I’m committed to giving other women the same hope.
